MOTORSPORT & TV 'S GADGET EXPERT SUZI PERRY SUPPORTS TEAM-GBNF IN OUR 2009 CAMPAIGN FOR PROMISE DREAMS.

Team GBNF was formed in late 2007. We are two off-road bike fans and came up with the idea of riding our bikes to raise money for good causes.

So with this in mind we set upon the task of taking part in the annual Weston Super Mare beach race. This event is a 3 hour endurance event, that allows the everyday rider to compete against the worlds best.

This year we will be raising money for Promise Dreams. They are a childrens charity that do fantastic things for kids.

We have set the target at £1000 for this year, and with fantastic support from you all we should reach that goal.

Throughout 2009 we will holdinig a number of events to raise funds & awareness for this good cause.Here is a brief intoduction to each event & if you interested in an event or item

please follow the tabs on the top left of the page.

Our aim is to try and beat our finishing total for 2008 for this worthy cause. We are all aware that times are hard, but with your support we CAN make a difference to these kids!

As we are all aware times are hard for us all.None more so than for charities.Trying to find a venue & get prizes is proving very tough,so instead we will be giving prizes to those that donate at our justgiving site .Please look at the page for further info.

We will be having an online auction of items that we collect from supporters (see the Auction Items tab above) and we are very pleased with the support that we have received - even at this early stage of the project!

Off-road legend David Knight has donated items aswell as BBC TV Presenter Suzi Perry who has kindly agreed to donate an item as well.Josh Coppins MX1 World Motocross rider has also offered support.Thank you to them all for their support.

The final event in our 2009 campaign will be to compete at Weston again, but we hope to raise funds for this great cause in many other ways before this final race. Please get in touch via email with any ideas you may have.

LAST YEAR:

The 2008 campaign was set up to raise money for Cancer Research UK. This cause was a personal thing for both of us as we have lost loved ones to cancer, hence the team name. A number of events took place throughout last year and many companies and individuals supported us. We would like to thank them all for their support last year, and hope they will do the same again.
